Hi, Bryan Here….
Surprisingly, I had a lot of fun with this action-crime thriller from Baltasar Kromakur, who previously worked on ‘Contraband‘ Mark Wahlberg. I didn’t expect much from this seemingly stale film, but once the end credit sequence started rolling, I only could hope for a sequel and for Denzel Washington and Wahlberg to say ‘Yes’ to more films together, as their on-screen chemistry is the best I’ve seen in a long while. In what could be an off-shoot version of ‘Bad Boys‘, ‘2 Guns‘ packs a lot of explosions, gunfire, and laughs to garner a second viewing. The trailers do not do this film justice, and I’m hoping for a sizable dent in the box office this weekend with this entertaining “shoot-em-up”.

We are definitely set up with a sequel potential and if this is any pre-cursor as what to expect from Washington and Wahlberg, than be sure to count me in.
