George Lucas has had a change of heart and has decided to give his fans what they’ve been asking him to do for many years. He will be releasing the ultimate Star Wars set on Blu-ray. This time, the original theatrical releases. There will also be a limited edition Sith and Jedi edition that comes with its own lightsaber.
The films will come in glorious 1080p and have 7.1 lossless audio. One of the extras on the disc is the famed Star Wars Christmas special as well. Look for all new commentaries by the cast and crew as well.

Even if it was true, I wouldn’t trust Lucas as far as I could throw him. The last BluRay release was supposed to be unaltered… Noooooooo!
