Monica Breen and Alison Schapker have been hired by J.J. Abrams to write a film for Paramount and Bad Robot about sword wielding Japanese Robots.  The film is currently called “Zanbato” which means horse-slaying sword or horse -chopping slayer.

According to Deadline the two women have worked with J.J. Abrams before on television shows such as: Lost, Alias, and Fringe.  Not to mention a pilot called “Pulp” which is supposed to be kinda like  “Pulp Fiction”.

This could be cool.  I wonder if the robot will look anything like Bad Robot’s mascot??
