‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘ Has got a trailer and a premiere date for those of us who will be tuning into Amazon Prime to check out the utterly original new series from do-it-all team of Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino. The pair are well known for ‘Gilmore Girls‘ where they employed their talents as writers, directors and executive producers in the series that streams November 29.

We see in the trailer that having everything you’ve ever wanted, doesn’t always work out for you. Even if you’re a woman in 1958 with the perfect husband, two kids and a gorgeous apartment in New York’s Upper West Side. From such unlikely beginnings as this comes a remarkable, and unlikely, talent as a stand-up comic.

The cast features some of the greatest in Hollywood like Rachel Brosnahan (‘House of Cards‘), Tony Shaloub (‘Monk‘), Alex Borstein (‘Family Guy‘), Max Casella (‘The Sopranos‘), Marin Hinkle (‘Two and a Half Men‘), Jane Lynch (‘Glee‘), and Wallace Shawn (‘The Princess Bride‘).

In March, the season first debuted on Amazon Prime as a pilot and was rewarded with an unusual two-season pickup. What is more unusual about this is Netflix is who picked up the four-episode revival of ‘Gilmore Girls‘, but with this series, the pair have signed an overall deal with Amazon Studios.
