Good news, everyone. Disney/Marvel are prepping the Ant-Man sequel titled Ant-Man and the Wasp, which will star Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lily as the Wasp. Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, and T.I. are set to return to the sequel as well. Peyton Reed will also sit in the director’s chair once again. It’s been announced today, which is before Marvel’s big panel at Comic Con that Walton Goggins (Vice Principals, The Shield, The Hateful Eight) will be joining the cast in the sequel.

The film is slated to release a year from now on July 6th, 2018 and will probably make more money than its predecessor, which was over $519 million. There is no info on the character that Goggins will play, but I imagine there will be revealing everything at Comic Con later this week, according to Deadline. I like this bit of casting. Goggins is one of my favorite actors. He just steals the scene every time he’s on screen, whether he’s a good guy or a bad guy.

I bet anything that Goggins will be the villain in this sequel. He’s just so perfect at it. Any guesses as to who he’ll play?
