Netflix has partnered up with everyone’s favorite science guy – Bill Nye, to develop a TV show called ‘Bill Nye Saves the World‘. This show will be available on Netflix and will debut sometime in the Spring of 2017. The show will explore science and the impacts it has on politics, society, and pop culture. I’m sure there will be a ton of special guests too.

The original show ‘Bill Nye The Science Guy‘ had 100 episodes and ran from 1993-1998 on PBS, and got a ton of people, including myself interested in science and doing experiments. Each episode will cover a different topic with scientific and fun view points, and have experiments and excellent discussions.

“Since the start of the Science Guy show, I’ve been on a mission to change the world by getting people everywhere excited about the fundamental ideas in science,” Nye said. “Today, I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change. With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little.”
