Hugh Jackman has been cast as lead in the Fox project based on the American showman P.T. Barnum. The circus virtuoso is the founder of the world-famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Michelle Williams is in talks to join the Michael Gracey directed production.

Under the title ‘Greatest Showman on Earth‘, the project is a musical and anyone involved needs to be able to handle both the acting and singing requirements, Williams is more than capable on that part. Another name that is gifted in the same areas is Zac Efron and he is currently in negotiation to join the project, as well.  ‘Greatest Showman on Earth‘ is set to debut Christmas Day 2017.
