Disney’s live-action ‘Beauty and the Beast‘ is chugging along, steadily filling out the cast with new announcements seemingly coming every day. We all know the story, a young Belle agrees to stay in a castle with a monstrous beast to ensure her father’s freedom, but things aren’t always what they appear to be on the surface.

You might know her from ‘Beyond the Lights‘ or ‘Jupiter Ascending‘ but I know Gugu Mbatha-Raw from ‘Doctor Who‘ as Tish Jones, Martha’s sister. Regardless of where you know her from, she has joined a stellar cast as Plumette, the feather duster.

She joins Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens (Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston) and Josh Gadd (LeFou), Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts) and Kevin Kline as Belle’s father with Ian McKellen as Cogsworth. Production will begin this year for an ultimate release on March 17, 2017. I’ve got such high hopes for this movie, I can’t wait!
