Hi, Bryan Here….
After 17 weeks, we have finally arrived with a the championship match and a winner for out infamous Director’s bracket. Back 17 weeks ago, we took a couple of days to come up with 64 of the best directors, and put them in a NCAA-style tournament bracket to see who would emerge as the best director of all time. We separated them into four categories, which were: modern filmmakers, dead filmmakers, genre filmmakers, and foreign filmmakers. Some fights ensued over the course of these 17 weeks, but we have all healed, and have picked a winner, which was a 3-2 decision. You can click the link below to see the bracket in its entirety. The final four were Steven Spielberg, John Hughes, John Carpenter, and Danny Boyle.
