It looks like the twin girls Ella and Jaden Hiller who play Lily, the adopted baby of Cam and Mitchell will be leaving the show and be replaced by an older actress or two.  The Modern Family producers have posted a casting call for  an “Asian, 3- to 4-year-old daughter of Mitchell and Cameron.”  So I guess Lily will have aged a couple of years.  I wonder if she will talk.

What’s great about Lily’s character is her perfect stone-faced expressions when her parents, Cam and Mitchell are completely insane all the time.  It’s great comedy.  I wonder if she will grow up to be completely sarcastic and full of dry wit.  It would be amazing.  The casting notice also said the role was for a series regular, so I’m guessing this is for good and permanent.  Looking forward toseeing the new cast member and how it will play out.
