In honor of what would have been George Harrison’s 68th birthday, the 2002 “Concert For George Harrison” film will stream online for free on GeorgeHarrison.com beginning Friday, February 25th at 8am GMT.

The film, released one year after the passing of the late-Beatle, features a slew of super-star musicians, like Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Jeff Lynne, paying tribute to their friend and one of the most beloved musicians of all time.

Fans around the world will be able to simultaneously celebrate the music, life and birthday of George Harrison for the 24 hours the stream is available.

Additional performers include Billy Preston, Monte Python, Ravi & Anoushka Shankar, son Dhanni Harrison among others.

A Blu-Ray version of the film will see release on March 22nd, including never before seen interviews with Ringo Starr, Jim Keltner and Ray Cooper, the original theatrical version of the film, interviews with the performers, rehearsal shots and behind-the-scenes footage.  “Concert For George Harrison” is currently available on DVD, as well as the film soundtrack.
