The ‘Transformers‘ franchise has been at a low point for me over the last few films, maybe it was the director, maybe it was the story line, regardless of the reason, the next film in the tunnel has some news that is a little more exciting. Director Michael Bay is returning for the fifth installment with Josh Duhamel.

Duhamel starred in three of the films from the movie-line and is appearing alongside Mark Wahlberg, who is also a returning franchise-favorite and starred in ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction‘.

The latest sequel recently received a new title ‘Transformers: The Last Knight‘ just in time for the flick to begin shooting next week on location in Cuba and following it up in Detroit to complete filming eyeing a June 23, 2017 release date.
