Hey guys, Jana here,

Mockingbird-Lance-Hunter-Agen

Fans of the hit Marvel series, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ can rejoice that two of the strongest characters from the series, Barbara Morse, better known as Mockingbird and Lance Hunter are back in the prime position of carrying their own series, whether or not it will be a “spinoff” of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ still remains to be seen, but Marvel’s ‘Most Wanted‘ is definitely a go for pilot. Whether or not fans do a lot of rejoicing having two fan favorites taken from Agents is definitely going to rub some fans the wrong way, while other will embrace it fully.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Valerian-Comic-Book-Luc-Besson

Empire of a Thousand Planets‘ is a French comic book series that began in 1971 and introduced the world to the adventurous Valérian who uses the basic concept of spacetime and travels the universe through space and time with his companion, Laureline. Think somewhat of a French ‘Doctor Who‘, if you will. Director Luc Besson (‘The Fifth Element‘) fell in love with the comic series as a child and announced that this will be his next project.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Flaming-Z-compressed1-1400x972

We’ve had ‘The Mask of Zorro‘, ‘The Legend of Zorro‘ and just plain ‘Zorro‘ among other incarnations of the caped, masked swordsman. One that we haven’t seen in the past, is in the works and on the way. This time, Zorro goes in to a post-apocalyptic future that will see less horses and more robots. I’m not so sure about this.

♫♪1,2 Freddy’s Coming For You…Again!!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Aug 6th, 2015

Hey guys, Jana here,

A_Nightmare_Elm_Street_nightmareaug

It’s not only makeup, hairstyle and fashion trends that undergo a huge upheaval and massive makeovers as the years progress, film has been doing the same thing since the first piece of celluloid lit up a white screen. Horror movies have a different spot as remakes in my eyes. I love seeing an old favorite re-vamped with newer technology and can’t wait to see what new twists, turns and unexpected scares the filmmakers have in store for the viewer. ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street‘ is back looking to scare the sleep out of a new generation.

Film Review: ‘Ant-Man’!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 14th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

ant-man_movie_image_collection

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues this summer of 2015 with ‘Ant-Man‘, which is a lesser known character and storyline than the usual big Avenger characters. This is a film that i’ve looked forward to for a few years now, because the story of ‘Ant-Man‘ and his abilities are very cool. When I had my comic book store, I actually had the first five issues of ‘Ant-Man‘ ever. I really dug those comics. Imagine how excited I was when news broke that director Edgar Wright signed on to write and direct the film.

Hey guys, Jana here,

old_man_logan___inked___turner___egli_by_surftiki_by_confuciusretaliation-d663hul

San Diego Comic-Con is all I’ve been talking about the last week, and with good reason! The epic trailers, the cast surprises, the tidbits of info that have been, previously, safely guarded. This week gives us a fantastic peek into the next year or two of film and gets us stoked for those release dates. One of the most exciting bits of information came from Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman. He gave us three words that sent fans everywhere into a frenzied sort of glee as to what ‘Wolverine 3‘ could entail, myself included, those words were “Old. Man. Logan.” Boom!

Hey guys, Jana here,

Comic-Con is THE entertainment spot of the universe and if you’re one of the lucky ones in attendance, you are guaranteed to see the latest and greatest the movie world has to offer. For years, we’ve waited for this event to see the newest trailers for the most anticipated films during their respective panel  presentations. This year was no different, and fans were treated to, among others, ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice‘, ‘Suicide Squad‘, ‘X-Men: Apocalypse‘ and the hottest trailer from the con, ‘Deadpool‘. I have been scanning the net ever since those panels ended looking for the studios mainstream release of the trailers to bring to you, and they’re curiously absent.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Marvel2

Warner Brothers and DC Comics had the con all to themselves as Marvel skipped this year due to not having enough current projects close enough to completion to show off or warrant a big panel gathering. So the Warner Bros. panel was a standing room only crowd and their anticipation paid off as two big trailers debuted for the fans: ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice‘ and ‘Suicide Squad‘ played to roaring approval.
