Hey guys, Jana here,

Jake Gyllenhaal’s Startling ‘Southpaw’ Makeover

This year’s Oscar race was a tough one to call as there were so many deserving and absolutely fantastic movies that made the ballot and hundreds more that didn’t, the films coming out now are offering up performances just as stunning. One of the best examples of great acting comes from Jake Gyllenhaal in ‘Southpaw‘.

Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Danny McBride, Rachel McAdams, Alec Baldwin, Cameron Crowe and Bill Murray? If I asked you a week ago what these people had in common, some of you researcher types would probably find some connection besides, the new Cameron Crowe film that’s been announced. However, I’m focusing on the Crowe movie.

Behold! Terrence Malick’s ‘To The Wonder’ Trailer!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 19th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

Over the past several days, you might have noticed the site has not been updated.  No need to worry, everything is fine, and I appreciate all of the emails asking what’s been going on.  I’ve had a bad cold since last week, which has left my head feeling like it was submerged in black tar and repeatedly beating by mega ton hammers.  So today, is the first day I have felt well enough to even get out a sentence on the computer.  Hopefully tomorrow, I’ll be back to 100%.  – – On to the cool news.  Terrence Malick‘s new film ‘To The Wonder‘ has finally got a trailer and it looks very Malick-y.

Hi, Bryan Here….

The Toronto Film Festival is coming up quickly and it looks like it is going to be one for the books.  ‘Looper’ is going to open up the festival with several other centerpiece films that strike my fancy.  Two of them include Joss Whedon’s Shakespeare film ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, and Terrence Malick’s new film, ‘To The Wonder’.  Can’t wait.  Below is the official press release.  Who’s going? Piers Handling, CEO and Director of TIFF, and Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director of the Toronto International Film Festival, made the first announcement of films to premiere at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival. Films announced include titles in the Galas and Special Presentations programmes. The announced films include 17 Galas and 45 Special Presentations, including 38 world premieres.

FedMex Reviews ‘The Vow’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 9th, 2012

FedMex Here….

The Vow:

Channing Tatum loves Rachel McAdams.  Rachel McAdams has brain injury and forgets who Channing Tatum is.  Channing Tatum wants Rachel McAdams to remember him and be in love with him again.  That’s the plot.First and foremost, I would normally not watch a movie like this unless a girl made me do it.  In this case, the girl that normally makes me watch movies like this didn’t even want to watch this movie.  My expectations were sufficiently low walking into “The Vow,” but what can I say?  I guess I’m a sucker, because I actually found some redeeming qualities to this cute dromantimedy ™.

FilmNation Sticking with Malick!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Nov 3rd, 2011

After the success of Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life, FilmNation has entered an agreement with him to handle distribution and international sales of his next three films. Plot details on all three are nonexistent, but Malick and FilmNation have our attention from the cast listings alone.

Sherlock Holmes 3 Already in the Works!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 28th, 2011

The Bishop Charlotte reporting…

Nobody’s actually surprised, of course, but it’s newsworthy nonetheless. Guy Ritchie and Warner Bros. are already discussing the third Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Drew Pearce will write as soon as he’s finished with Iron Man 3.

Hi Bryan Here…

Terrence Malick is one heel of a filmmaker and I am so happy he is busy making films currently.  His next film which is called “Tree of Life” comes out May 27th.  I have been looking forward to that film for quite sometime.  It seems that he has already finished his next film as well which is still untitled at the moment.
