The Theory of Everything is not simply the biography of Stephen W. Hawking (Eddie Redmayne).  The film is a work of art detailing the complexity, endurance, and potential origin of Hawking’s passion and time.  The Theory of Everything follows Hawking’s journey from his early days of struggling to determine the subject of his PhD to his later days as a world-renown scholar and author of this complex element in our lives.

Have you heard the one about the married couple who invite a foreign exchange student into their house and “suddenly” an attraction develops between the young girl and the husband? Wait, you say you are familiar with this overused cliché? Perhaps you should tell Guy Pearce (Memento, L.A. Confidential) that the plotline of his new movie Breathe In is better suited for a Lifetime movie than the big screen.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘ is gaining steam as actor Paul Giamatti is in final talks to join the sequel to play the villain known as ‘The Rhino’, with Felicity Jones also in final talks to join the cast in an unknown role.  If the talks go well, these two will join an already impressive cast of Andrew Garfiled (Peter Parker), Jamie Foxx (Electro), Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), and Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborne).

“The 2011 Toronto Film Festival has unveiled the first part of its slate, and announced that the Davis Guggenheim-directed U2 documentary From The Sky Down will open the festival, which will run from Sept. 8-18.”  In addition to U2, there are quite a bit of amazing sounding films.  Below is the official list of films that have already been locked into place for the festival.  Tons of stars and great sounding movies.
