‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Rogue Cut Details!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jan 4th, 2015

Hey guys, Jana here,

NEP2ZvzYH7bBTR_2_b (1)

Just when I think there is not an original hook left in the entertainment world, I read something that really drives home the point of why I am not a marketing genius. Case in point – ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut‘. In a million years, I would never have possessed the cleverness and ingenuity required to come up with this. I would, however, still have come up with my rock-solid theory connecting Led Zeppelin to the Broadway smash ‘Les Miserables‘.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

Warner Bros. are trying yet again to revive the Looney Tune franchise. They’ve had moderate success over the past decade with a couple of feature films, and a new series, but they have not come close to making a big blockbuster hit like they used to. But that might all change, considering the talent they have behind this revamp, which they hope to turn a franchise out of it.

‘X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST’ – AN EDITORIAL!!

by Justin Cline on Jun 3rd, 2014

Justin C. here…

X-Men-Days-of-Future-Past-Movie-Poster

This is not a review; this is a plea.

As of this posting, the Rotten Tomatoes score for X-Men: Days of Future Past is holding strong at 92%. And while it would seem that a score that high indicates the filmmakers got nearly everything right—in as much as anyone ever can—, I’d like to offer up a few suggestions for the next film, tentatively titled X-Men: Apocalypse.

Here they are, in no particular order: Read the rest of this entry »

Film Review: ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’!!

by Gumbercules9000 on May 22nd, 2014

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

x_men_days_of_future_past_banner-wide

The big blockbuster movies for the summer of 2014 have officially kicked off and ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ might be the best one yet. For the past year, I’ve been looking forward to seeing this and original X-Men director Bryan Singer returning to this storyline. If you remember, back in 2000, Singer was the first director to take on a big budget comic book movie with the first ‘X-Men‘ film, and the studios were waiting to see if it was going to do enough business. Made on what seems to be a modest budget of only $75 million, the first X-Men film made $300 million domestically, and that’s before 3D and all of the IMAX screens. Well, the rest is history, as we have had tons of comic book films come out since then. But it feels great to be back with the one that started it all.

Hillary T.’s ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Review!!

by Gumbercules9000 on May 22nd, 2014

Hillary T., Here…

X-Men-Days-of-Future-Past-Movie-Poster

I am a Marvel girl. I am. But after the last ensemble X-Men movie (Last Stand), I was devastated at what had become of my beloved mutant team. Then, First Class came out, which gave me a lot of hope. Then they announced Bryan Singer would return to direct the next installment. Dare I get my hopes up more? Then they shared the “Days of Future Past” storyline. I was instantly hooked. The cast started rolling in, and I got even more hopeful and well, I was really happy after the first preview. It looked good, even great.

Channing Tatum has officially been cast to play fan favorite X-Men, Gambit in future ‘X-Men‘ films. He has expressed a lot of interest before in playing this iconic character, but nothing was certain. That is until yesterday when at a ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ red carpet event, producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed that Tatum was indeed going to play Gambit.

The 1979 hit that made Mel Gibson a superstar is being re-launched….as is everything that was once great, good or even mediocre. George Miller is back to direct the franchise that made his name 35 years ago with Mad Max: Fury Road. Mel Gibson will be back, as well, but not in the lead role. That torch has been passed on to Tom Hardy (Warrior, Lawless, The Dark Knight Rises). Joining Hardy are co-stars Charlize Theron (Monster, Aeon Flux and Snow White and the Huntsman)and Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodiess, Jack the Giant Slayer and X-Men: First Class). This makes the first Mad Max movie since 1985’s Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

Well, it’s finally here. After a couple of years of teasing the story line and casting, and the badass end credit sequence from the last ‘Wolverine‘ film, we now have a trailer for Bryan Singer’sX-Men: Days of Future Past‘.  Thanks to 20th Century Fox for releasing it just a few minutes ago. Singer directed the first two X-Men films and is back this time around, and has casts from both his films and the last one ‘X-Men: First Class‘. There will be epic superhero fights and even time travel.

X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ has just cast Peter Dinklage for an unknown role at this point, but we are told it’s key part. Dinklage has been hard at work on HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ for the past couple of years, and I can’t wait to see him as either a superhero or villain. Bryan Singer, the director for the original two X-Men films is back to direct and has been announcing via his Twitter page the news.

Bryan Reviews ‘Astonishing X-Men: Dangerous’ DVD!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 23rd, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here…

‘Astonishing X-Men: Dangerous’ is the second part of a trilogy written by Joss “man-god” Whedon.  This is a motion comic film which is illustrated by the talented John Cassaday and is out just in time I feel to promote Whedon’s epic Avenger film.  This is not the best work I’ve seen, but it’s not the worst either.  I just feel like this was rushed to release rather than give it the proper time to be the badass DVD it deserves to be.
