Warner Bros. Is Developing ‘Space Jam 2’!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Feb 24th, 2014

Jana B. here,

Space Jam

Over the weekend, a very trusted news source in Hollywood called Deadline, ran a news story that said, “Lebron James was going to star in the upcoming ‘Space Jam‘ sequel. The article mentioned producers and a studio, which was Warner Bros. A day or so later, Lebron and a couple of people on the NBA side and close to Lebron’s camp refuted the story and basically said this wasn’t happening. But the wording they used was confusing. The sources said that there have been no “substantive discussions”, which means, the deals are not made yet, however talks have happened. It seems like Warner Bros. is definitely making a ‘Space Jam‘ sequel, and they want  Lebron to star in it, but again, no deals have been made yet. In my personal opinion, I think Shaq should star rather than Lebron. Or just get Jordan back. He’s not doing anything. Below is the original story.

Warner Bros. Is Building A ‘Lego Movie’ Sequel!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Feb 24th, 2014

Jana B. here,

The Lego Movie

After the ‘Lego Movie‘ proved to be such a massive blockbuster hit world-wide, Warner Brothers is not letting any of the momentum die down before announcing a sequel. While the details about the coming film are sketchy at best, one thing we know for sure is the release date has been staked out for May 26, 2017, with it being the beginning of the long Memorial Day weekend, we can assume it will be the tentpole for their summer film releases. At this point, this is the only film to claim the release date. So far, the only real thing that has been confirmed is the release date and that it will be the Lego universe. The rumor mill is spinning with whether or not it will be a proper sequel to the film in theaters now or if it will be a Lego Ninjago spinoff.

Warner Bros. Has Cast Wonder Woman!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 4th, 2013

Hi, Bryan Here….

2013-10-Gal-Gadot-Beautiful1

So we have Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill returning as Superman for the ‘Man of Steel‘ sequel called ‘Batman vs. Superman‘. And now they have their Wonder Woman, who I guess will also be a big part of the story. And Wonder Woman will be played by Gal Gadot. Gadot hasn’t done much, but she is a main player in a few of the ‘Fast and Furious‘ films where she plays Gisele.

Hi, Bryan Here….

no_country.javierb.02

We recently reported that director Joe Wright is developing just one of the many Peter Pan projects that are circulating in Hollywood at the moment. This is a movie over at Warner Bros., and is a high priority for the studio right now. So much so that the studio has offered the lead villain role to Javier Bardem. And since this is an Origin story, it won’t be Captain Hook.

Hi, Bryan Here….

You thought the world of ‘Harry Potter‘ was over, didn’t you? Well of course it isn’t. Those books and movies are too popular and make tons of money for them to call it quits. Hell, there is even a theme park now dedicated to the world of ‘Harry Potter‘. Not too mention all of the spin-off books from the series. And that’s where our story comes into play. Warner Bros. and author J.K. Rowling are putting a brand new epic film series together based on the ‘Harry Potter‘ world.

Warner Bros. Is Trying to Reboot ‘Gremlins’!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 17th, 2013

Hi, Bryan Here….

gremlins-05-470-75

Warner Bros. is currently negotiating with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment to remake ‘Gremlins‘.  Over the past several years, studios have tried to get a reboot green lit, but nothing has ever panned out, mostly due to financials and the rights to the film.  Plus, we hear that Spielberg might not want to let it go without his named attached to the project.  So what makes this time different from the rest of the past negotiations?

Hi, Bryan Here….

Sun_Earth_Moon

I guess someone at Warner Bros. really liked the Coen Bros. The Odyssey‘ adaptation, which was ‘O’ Brother Where Art Thou‘, and thought “Let’s do the complete opposite of that”, meaning instead of having it old-timey, let’s make set in the future and in space.  That’s how I pictured it going down when I heard that Warner Bros. is moving forward with a new adaptation that has Homer’s Odyssey set in outer space.

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 20th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

Since there have been two deaths in the past 24 hours, and bad news and deaths usually come in threes, I hope Clint Eastwood, doesn’t die of shock when he reads this.  Japan’s Warner branch is planning to remake the 1992 Clint Eastwood western ‘Unforgiven’.  This time it will be called ‘The Unforgiven’ and will star Ken Watanabe as the Eastwood role.  It will also be a samurai period flick.

Hi, Bryan Here….

I literally laughed out loud when I got this in.  I enjoy the WWE and have always had a soft spot for Scooby Doo.  I never once thought they would come together as one.  I was wrong about that.  WWE Studios and Warner Bros. are teaming up for an animated feature that will center around a mystery at WrestleMania.  See, you can’t get through that sentence without smiling.

Warner Bros. To Remake Akira in Live-Action!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 20th, 2011

The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

I know what you’re thinking. I can read your mind. I am peering into the vortex of your psyche…

“…what.”

No question mark. Just flat-out “what.” Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too.

Akira, originally made in 1988, is the anime cult classic that really brought the genre to America. It’s a sci-fi, cyberpunk epic about two boys who follow very different paths. One, the leader of a biker gang, must save the other from the government’s cruel experiments when he shows potentially dangerous psychic powers. Made when animation was still fairly so-so, Akira broke down the barriers keeping America from sampling the beauty of Japanese anime.

Hi Bryan Here…

Warner Bros. is wanting to purchase a project on ‘Gaius Julius Caesar’ based on a story pitch.  They are wanting Chris Boal to write and Jonathan Liebesman to direct.  Boal really hasn’t done anything besides work on a press kit and Libesman is responsible for such disasters as ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ and ‘Darkness Falls’.  And supposedly they want a different original version of the story with a major star to play Caesar.
