Marvel made an announcement today, actually several announcements, about the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ve all been hearing rumors about upcoming projects but nothing has been verified until today. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took the stage to lay out a timeline for their next few films.

In the category of we-all-knew-it-would-happen-eventually Marvel is paving the way for an epic battle between Captain America and Iron Man with ‘Captain America: Civil War‘. Chris Evans and Robert Downey, Jr will reprise their previous roles and Chadwick Boseman will make his first appearance as the Black Panther. Cap’s Civil War hits big screens on May 6, 2016.

Jana B., Here…

The current theme with television series these days is they are either pointless, mind-numbing, IQ lowering reality shows, or big cable network sponsored in-depth series. I’m glad that it seems the sweeping series are becoming more the norm. Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead is adding to his stable of excellent tv offerings with Outcast. No, this isn’t going to be about a leper that is ostracized from the community, or even more zombies that are a threat to the brain functioning population. This time  we step into the world of exorcisms.

Hi Bryan Here…

It’s hard to believe it has ben fifteen ears since the HBO series ‘Tales From The Crypt’ finished its seventh season.  I very much enjoyed that show growing up and always was very fond of the comics.  Well it seems like a new TV series based on the popular and controversial 1950s EC Comics anthology is in the works with Gil Adler, producer on the HBO Crypt series, and Andrew Cosby, co-creator of Syfy hit Eurekaand co-founder of comic book publisher BOOM! Hi Bryan Here…

Now I believe that Fletch was one of the best comedies of the 1980’s, but its sequel was one of the worst sequels in cinema history.  I mean it killed any chance of their being a third film for a while.  But now they are moving forward to bring back Fletch to the big screen.
