Annabelle Comes Home – Film Review!
Set in the horrifying Conjuring universe where paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren travel around the world and investigate strange phenomenons, perform exorcisms, and help families out with evil spirits, have both seen some truly terrifying things. The catch is that it’s all real or at least based on real-life events. With all of these horror movies that started with The Conjuring, there have been a few spinoff movies. The most popular of them is the frightening possessed doll named Annabelle, which is now on its third movie titled Annabelle Comes Home. Directed by Gary Dauberman, who has been the lead writer on the past Annabelle films, this sequel is his first foray into the director’s chair with original filmmaker James Wan producing. The result is too much of a slow pace for its own good, in addition to taking itself too seriously in an already flooded cheap scare and tiresome plot that we have seen two dozen times before.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters – Film Review!
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters receives a passing grade, because the monster fights really are that great!”
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is a frustrating mix of incredible special effects and monster fights with far too much Lifetime Network style human drama. As a fan of the first (new) Godzilla (2014) I was extremely excited for this one. I understood that in the first one the reason for limited Godzilla scenes was to create suspense and save money and I assumed that after the reveal of the first one this one would stray away from the issues of the first. Instead it doubles down on them by adding more useless human subplots, far too many human characters, and a story that (even for a giant monster movie) is just going through the motions.
Blu-ray Review: ‘The Conjuring 2’
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
THE FILM
It seems like a ton of horror movies come out every year, and most times, they don’t live up to their potential. There are a handful of horror movies over the last decade that really satisfy us horror fans. Films like ‘The Babadook‘, ‘It Follows‘, and ‘The Conjuring‘ will still be talked about for years to come. One name in the horror genre, or at least in recent years is James Wan. This man burst onto the scene with ‘Saw‘, which was basically genre changing and spawned a ton of sequels. Wan also made a few other horror films, all testing the bounds and pushing us into a new horror direction, while still respecting his influences.

‘The Conjuring 2’ Trailer Brings The Chills!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Director James Wan, the helmer behind ‘Saw‘ and ‘Insidious 1 and 2′ and ‘The Conjuring‘, brings us ‘The Conjuring 2‘ bringing back Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as supernatural demonologists Lorraine and Ed Warren. This time the couple travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
‘The Conjuring 2’ Trailer Looks Freaky!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
‘The Conjuring 2′ is another supernatural horror film from director James Wan. Written by Carey Hayes, Chad Hayes, Wan and David Leslie Johnson. The original film came out in the summer of 2013 and the sequel will follow suit releasing in June of this year.
Film Review: ‘The Judge’!!
Suzanne L., Here…
With a story that bounces among family drama, courtroom drama, and love story, The Judge takes on a lot with its all-star cast, but in spite of performances by Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr., the movie falls short. What was intended to come off as moving is more maudlin than impactful.
‘The Conjuring’ is Breaking Records!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
The horror genre is ruling the box office this summer, which is so cool. I’m a sick and twisted fan when it comes to horror, as I enjoy seeing every horror film, no matter how gory, terrible, or depraved it is. I live for that stuff. So, when I got the news that ‘The Conjuring‘, the new horror film by director James Wan has broken three records at the box office, I was giddy with joy. Why, you ask? Well because, this might pave the way for new and original horror films in our near future.
Film Review: ‘The Conjuring’!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
It’s been a couple of years since we had a great and pure horror film, capable of producing genuine scares. ‘The Conjuring‘ seems to have re-vitalized the genre this summer. Filmmaker James Wan brought us ‘Saw‘ and ‘Insidious‘, which both changed the horror genre when they were released. Now, Wan brings us ‘The Conjuring‘, where he set out to make an homage to the classic 60s and 70s horror films that rely on building tension and genuine scares rather than CG effects and gore that we have come to expect out of most horror flicks these days. The results pack a good and scary punch that box office receipts this weekend will score big with this frightening film.
