Hey guys, Jana here,

I-Am-Wrath-Movie

John Travolta is one of those guys that has been in every kind of movie under the sun and some are better for him than others. I like Travolta, he can butcher a name with the best of them, just check out the Oscars and Idina Menzel, it takes a special kind of person to flub on that big of a stage and laugh it off and keep going.

Hi Bryan Here….

So the huge action packed star studded insane action film ‘Expendables’ is getting a sequel.  If you saw the last film, you might have noticed Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in a small and short cameo appearance.  We reported last time that both Arnold and Bruce will be back for the sequel with much larger roles.  Well Sly Stallone has confirmed that he has got Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris to sign on and come aboard which is turning out to be the biggest most epic action film EVER.

Hi Bryan Here….

If only it were to be a sequel to Face Off directed by John Woo with all the white doves and slo-mo we could handle.  Sadly that is not going to happen.  Well at least anytime soon.  But, the two actors who have such great chemistry on screen, and play well off each other are in talks to star opposite one another in not just one film, but two films in the coming future.

‘The Fanatic’ – Film Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 28th, 2019

“‘The Fanatic’ is just too strange to not be seen.”

If I were to tell you that Devon Sawa, Fred Durst, and John Travolta made a movie together, you’d probably wait for the punchline as if I were telling a joke. It’s the year 2019 where up is down, left is right, and all three of those entertainers made a movie called ‘The Fanatic‘ that follows a man obsessed with his favorite horror/action movie star. This movie is so strange you have to see it. Not just for the fact that actor Devon Sawa (Final Destination) has a lead role in the film with a low-tone Batman voice, and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst sits in a director’s chair (probably yelling in the mic “Keep rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ the film footage”, but for Travolta’s unhinged performance as an autistic man named Moose – there is something to behold.. I promise I’m not making any of this up.

Film Review: Everything, Everything!

by Gumbercules9000 on May 18th, 2017

Audrey E., here….

maxresdefault

It’s no secret that in recent years the Young Adult genre has exploded in popularity, most notably after the phenomenally successful Twilight novel produced box office gold with 2008’s film adaptation. And since then, wherever there’s a bestselling book, there’s surely a major motion picture sticker following suit. At first glance, ‘Everything, Everything‘ might seem like another insufferable adolescent romance, but this one actually explores earnest issues and is surprisingly funny!  Read the rest of this entry »

Blu-ray Review: ‘I Am Wrath’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Sep 16th, 2016

Jonathan A., here…

THE FILM

John Travolta stars in Director Chuck Russell’sI Am Wrath,” which follows the story of a former black ops agent that is out for vengeance on a biblical scale, after his wife is murdered by a group of thugs.  Not exactly a newbie to the scene, Russell has directed a handful of moderately successful movies such as “The Mask,” “Eraser” and even the third installment of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.  This movie meets the standards set by his previous films; Not exactly a good movie, but not bad, either.

It’s hard to believe, but ‘Carrie‘ is celebrating 40 years in an epic way. What’s a more apropos way to mark 40 years of a prom-related movie, than with a 1970s prom-themed fan event and fundraiser that combines a screening with a reunion of the cast and crew?!

Hey guys, Jana here,

PicMonkey Collage12

Two great family film companies, Walden Media and Jim Henson Productions, are joining forces to produce, and develop an original story about a rather nasty subject, a pagan demon who punishes wicked children at Christmas. Did I mention he has horns and looks fifty shades of creepy? They’ve gone with the title ‘Happy Krampus!‘ so they’re going to make it a family-friendly project with a live-action production.

Movie Quotes

Peter La Fleur:
[after Patches hits Justin in the face with a wrench] Yeah, uh, Patches... are you sure that this is completely necessary?
Patches O'Houlihan:
Necessary? Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine?
Peter La Fleur:
Probably not.
Patches O'Houlihan:
No, but I do it anyway because it's sterile and I like the taste.
Peter La Fleur:
...Okay.
