Hey guys, Jana here, diesel-close

What do we know about Vin Diesel? We know he’s an avid ‘Dungeons and Dragons‘ player of over 24 years, he might have been ‘Daredevil‘ had he accepted before it was passed on to Ben Affleck, once upon a time he even did a promotional video on….how to break dance! We also know a bit more about the actor now that he’s announced ‘Riddick 4′ in addition to a spinoff turned TV series!

Film Review: Suzanne reviews “Riddick”

by Woozie on Sep 6th, 2013

Hi, Suzanne L., Here….

Keeping an open mind about the third installment of movies featuring Richard B. Riddick (Vin Diesel) was admittedly difficult. After enjoying 2000’s Pitch Black, the second movie, Chronicles of Riddickdid not live up to the expectations and the budget it was given. Within the first 15 minutes of the latest movie, Riddickmy open mind was wasted. The newest version rehashes old story lines, needs some serious editing, and cannot decide if it is going for cult-kitsch horror or serious action drama.

Hi Bryan Here…..

That’s right.  Badass actress Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) is in final talks to play the female lead opposite Vin Diesel in the untitled ‘Chronicles Of Riddick’ sequel.  Sackhoff will play Dahl, a Nordic mercenary tracking Riddick. Production on the sequel resumed recently in Montreal after a two-month break due to money issues.  Katee is just awesome in everything she does.  I can totally see her carrying this movie.  She is that awesome.  Hopefully this highly anticipated sequel gets on the right track and comes out soon.  Your thoughts?

Yeah, bring me some more Riddick…oh wait, this isn’t…

Don’t be fooled folks.  It may look like a duck, swim like a duck, and quack like a duck, but this is not Daffy.  I saw the poster as well and this is nothing like the popular cult film, Pitch Black or Chronicles of Riddick.  Clearly the studio is trying to cash in its popularity.

I know what you’re thinking…another Hercules film?  The Greek myth of the legendary son of Zeus and a mortal woman, Alcmene.  Brett Ratner’s Hercules is a different kind of animal.  At first, Hercules opens a lot like The Scorpion King.  A nephew of Hercules (Dwayne Johnson), Iolaus (Reece Ritchie), is bound and about to be killed.  Iolaus tells his would be murderers tales of the victories of Hercules.  Enter Hercules through heavy plumes of smoke, which is quite close to Mathayus emerging from the soot of the fireplace in The Scorpion King.
