OZARK SEASON 3 – Netflix Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Mar 23rd, 2020

“Ozark: Season Three is the best yet.”

The Byrdes are deeper in debt to many other criminals in season three of Netflix’s hit show Ozark. Series creators Bill Dubuque, Mark Williams, and showrunner Chris Mundy have built a sinister world in the midwest vacation hotspot over the past two seasons where jet skiing, water sports, and enjoying family-friendly activities are the normal part of life. In Ozark, the deep seedy underbelly is exposed to murder, drug running, the mafia, the cartel, and more that is as brutal and violent as Scarface. Season three enhances all elements as the Byrde family deals with a multitude of horrific situations in this stellar and super suspenseful ten new episodes.

Hi everyone, Bryan here….

We have a very fun 51st episode of our fun podcast under the MULTI-MEDIA MEN banner called ‘Media-Ocrity‘, where the show is just – okay. Here on the show, we focus strictly on horror/sci-fi, comic books, and video games – basically all the fun stuff that tickles your fancy. In our 51st episode, titled ‘The White Walkers play Video Games‘, we talk about the new Netflix shows Ozark and Atypical, in addition to spoilers of this season’s Game of Thrones, as well as cast a video game that should be made into a movie. It was so much fun. This episode is guaranteed to thrill you, chill you, and fulfill you. I am joined pop-culture wizard Jonathan Atterbury and comic book artist Jeremy Megert.

UNSOLVED MYSTERIES SEASON 1 – Netflix Review (2020)

by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 1st, 2020

Unsolved Mysteries captured the sleuth in every person that watched the NBC show in the 1980s and early 1990s as one unresolved case after another was shown to the world with evidence, interviews, and great re-enactments all led by the fantastic and serious host Robert Stack. This style of show catapulted a barrage of spinoff series that dove into true crime which then transformed into the ever-popular true crime documentaries and podcasts. Netflix has decided to reboot Unsolved Mysteries with Stranger Things creator Shawn Levy, but without any of the elements that made the original entertaining and fun, and even coherent.

THE INNOCENCE FILES – Netflix Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 7th, 2020

“I hope that people will take to The Innocence Files for so many reasons.”

If you’ve noticed an uptick in documentaries about the wrongfully convicted, you aren’t alone. It could be that it’s a hot topic, or that celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon, or possibly, just maybe, because there are more innocent people in prison then we are willing to admit. As organizations like The Innocence Project continue to exonerate people it becomes harder and harder to turn a blind eye to this topic. With that comes media coverage, and now, the wrongfully convicted have made their way to the holy grail of streaming services: Netflix. The Innocence Files premieres on April 15th amid a national quarantine and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I stopped watching Tiger King, Love is Blind and Ozark and binged nine episodes over three days. These are admittedly hard to watch, but for anyone working in criminal justice, this is the same song, different verse. I hope that people will take to this series for so many reasons, but here are my major selling points.

Jana’s Best of 2017!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jan 1st, 2018

Hey guys, Jana here,

I know these “Best of 2017” lists should technically be published in 2017, but why would I start 2018 any differently than I lived the majority of my adult life: Procrastinating and underachieving. What can I say? That’s my wheelhouse.

For a year that put a spotlight on some of the shittiest behavior by some of the Hollywood elite, it was actually a good year for TV and movies. I didn’t limit myself in number because as I moved on with the brackets, I felt like I was making ‘Sophie’s Choice‘ on some of these, so they’re all getting in! I’m feeling my inner-Oprah here, You’ve made the list! You made the list! EVERYBODY made the list!! In order to spare myself any arguments, I’m stating up front that my picks for the “Best of 2017” are not edited in regards to scandal or hideous human behavior.

My Lady, let me come with you.

There is no danger. The fighting is over, and... this is personal.

As you wish, My Lady... but I strongly disagree.
