Amazon Will Make Comic Book ‘The Boys’ into a TV Series from Seth Rogen!
I’m surprised this hasn’t happened sooner, but good news for everyone involved. Amazon is officially in business with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg in bringing the hit comic book series ‘The Boys‘ to the TV Series realm. The comic book started in 2006 and was written by Garth Ennis (‘Preacher‘) and focused on a group of people known as ‘The Boys‘ who set out to take out corrupt superheroes who destroy the lives of many while trying to do their jobs.

Celebrate the anniversary of ‘xXx‘ with, not just a 15th Anniversary Edition of the film, but also it’s debut on blu-ray on January 10th. Directed by Rob Cohen and Written by Rich Wilkes, ‘xXx‘ was produced by Neal H. Moritz and executive produced by Arne L. Schmidt, Todd Garner, Vin Diesel and George Zakk. The film stars Vin Diesel, Asia Argento, Marton Csokas, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Roof.

Sonic the Hedgehog Being Re-tooled for Big Screen Debut!!!

Sony Pictures Entertainment has teamed up with SEGA Sammy Group division Marza Animation Planet to develop a hybrid/live action and CG-animated feature film based on the ‘Sonic The Hedgehog‘ video game series. The film is to be scripted by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux. The pair worked together on ‘What’s Going On? With Mike Mitchell‘. Neal H. Moritz (‘21 Jump Street, ‘S.W.A.T.‘)is going to produce through his Original Film banner that is responsible for some big hits in Hollywood.
‘Fast and Furious 7’ Will Feature a CGI Paul Walker!!!

After months of grieving the death of cast mate, Paul Walker, shooting has resumed on the set of ‘Fast & Furious 7‘. We’ve also learned how Walker will remain in the film. “They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul’s physique and they will be used for movement and as a base,” one source close to production tells us. “Paul’s face and voice will be used on top using CGI.” The same source says this is the best option the producers and Universal Pictures have decided on, the studio feels confident fans of the series will feel satisfied with the result.
Lucas Black is Returning For ‘Fast and Furious 7’!!!

To all the fans yelling for more of the Sean Boswell character from ‘Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift‘, the movie gods have heard your cry and answered. Lucas Black, who starred in Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift, is returning to reprise his Sean Boswell role in Fast & Furious 7. Black, has signed a deal that calls for his character to become a regular in the series and he will be part of at least the next three installments of Universal Pictures’ most lucrative film franchise. Fast & Furious 7 will be released next July 11.We most recently saw Black flex his acting muscles as Pee Wee Reese in the Jackie Robinson film ‘42‘. Before that he featured in ‘Friday Night Lights‘, ‘Cold Mountain‘ and my favorite Lucas Black role as Jeep Hanson in ‘Legion‘.
‘Iron Man 3’ Director Shane Black to Direct ‘Doc Savage’ for Sony!!!

Sony has finalized the deal to have ‘Iron Man 3‘ and ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang‘ director Shane Black to co-write and direct the next comic book adaptation of ‘Doc Savage‘. This is looking to be Black’s next directorial effort. I couldn’t be more thrilled with this news. I love Black’s work and I thought his ‘Iron Man 3‘ film was the best yet of the franchise as you can read HERE.
