7500 – Film Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jun 17th, 2020

“7500 is a quick potboiler of a movie with a couple of fun storytelling devices and a good performance from Levitt.”

Not to be confused with the 2014 spooky film that starred Leslie Bibb and Turtle from HBO’s Entourage, 7500 is a hair-raising thriller set in the mile high club with a couple of gimmicks from German film director Patrick Vollrath. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises), this suspenseful film barely allows room to breathe as a passenger airplane is hijacked by a group of terrorists with a Jr. co-pilot forced to take charge for the duration of the flight.

Check Out the Creepy Trailer for ‘7500’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 21st, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

So here is a trailer for ‘7500’ which is a horror film which should have been called ‘Snakes on a Pla….’ –  wait wait wait, I mean ‘Ghosts on a Plane’.  And it still should have starred Samuel L. Jackson.  But sadly it does not.  Instead it stars Amy Smart, Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Jerry Ferrara (Entourage), and Leslie Bibb.  The trailer doesn’t show any of the ghosts, which is a good thing.  The trailer has its moments of creepiness though.  Hope this one is fun.

When Eric’s dad decides to sell off their summer playground, the friends agree there is only one way to have the biggest and brashest send off party, a good old fashioned orgy.”

Hi Bryan Here….

I can only describe my viewing of this film as 104 minutes of nails on a chalkboard.  It was painfully bad.  It’s not necessarily the actors, but rather the entire script, story, and voice acting.  This film has the lowest brow of humor and will probably mostly be enjoyed by five year olds.  The film reminds me of Dr. Dolittle and Night of the Museum in that the exhibits talk and are alive, and humans can hear the animals speak English.  A disaster on all levels.

Movie Quotes

[Captain Typho is trying to talk Padme out of leaving Coruscant without protection]
Captain Typho:
My Lady, let me come with you.
Padmé:
There is no danger. The fighting is over, and... this is personal.
[Typho bows]
Captain Typho:
As you wish, My Lady... but I strongly disagree.
Padmé:
I'll be all right, Captain. This is something I must do myself. Besides, Threepio will look after me.
C-3PO:
Oh, dear.
[Typho leaves; Padme and C-3PO board the Naboo skiff; Obi-Wan sneaks on board]
