Film Review: ‘Kevin Hart What Now?’!!

by Janet White on Oct 14th, 2016

Hello Everyone, Janet W. here…

8P05_D002_00556 In Universal Pictures’ Kevin Hart: What Now?, comedic rockstar KEVIN HART follows up his 20 13 hit standup concert movie Let Me Explain, which grossed $32 million domestically and became the thirdhighest live standup comedy movie of all time. Hart takes center stage in this groundbreaking, recordsetting, soldout performance of “What Now?”—filmed outdoors in front of 50,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field—marking the first time a comedian has ever performed to an atcapacity football stadium. An extended opening title sequence takes you through, Kevin Hart, a wannabe James Bond, literally a direct rip of various Bond films. The graphics were pretty cool. Enter the dramatic casino satire, an over-the-top, talking over others’ lines testament to the lunacy of Kevin Hart, Agent 0054. Next comes the stand-up concert that is the meat of Kevin Hart What Now? Hart shoots out of the stage in Trinity (yes, Matrix rip) style and the show begins.

Hey guys, Jana here,

get-hard-poster-600x373

In what comes across as a particular ‘New Guy‘-ish theme is ‘Get Hard‘, the newest comedic offering from Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. The two are absolute anarchy on a screen alone, so together they will bring the house down, the big house that is. We’ve gotten our hands on the extremely RED BAND trailer of the new pic and I laughed part of my considerable ass off, I wish it REALLY worked that way, right?!

Hello Jana here,

Kevin Hart

I think Kevin Hart is trying to break a record for being involved in the most flicks going at one time. With 10 projects , at the moment, in various stages of completion, he is adding one more to the pile of future projects. He has signed on to star in ‘Ride Along 2‘ after the success of the original when it was released in January of this year. Hart and his ‘Ride Along‘ director, Tim Story (‘Barbershop‘), have been approached to work together on another film, ‘Black Phantom‘.
