Amazon’s pilot season is in full swing having produced three new series that are set to premiere in 2017. You can view the pilot episodes from the three series that have been already given a full season order on Amazon. They are ‘I Love Dick‘, ‘The Tick‘, and ‘Jean-Claude Van Johnson‘.

I Love Dick‘ comes from Jill Soloway, fans of Amazon’sTransparent‘ will recognize her name as the creator of the Emmy-winning series and be eager to review another of her series.  in 1994 a married failed independent filmmaker who is about to turn forty falls in love with a well-known art and culture theorist named Dick and endeavors to seduce him with the help of her husband, a defiantly unconventional French academic with whom she hasn’t had sex in a very long time. The series stars Kathryn Hahn, Griffin Dunne, and Kevin Bacon set in Marfa, Texas.

Jean-Claude Van Johnson‘ is an action/comedy that more than just winks at it’s star Jean-Claude Van Damme. Besides Van Damme, the series stars Kat Foster, Phylicia Rashad and Moises Arias. A famous action movie hero and martial arts star comes out of retirement to assume his alter ego as undercover private contractor named Jean-Claude Van Johnson. He must also deal with aging and his handler Vanessa, the ex he still loves.

The Tick‘ lives in a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with zero powers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero. The reboot of the 2001 series stars Peter Sefafinowicz as the eponymous tick with  Griffin Newman, Valorie Curry and Jackie Earle Haley co-starring.
