If you grew up in the 80’s, you probably at one point in your life played a game or two of Laser Tag. Back then, it was called Photon, and there were actual brick and mortar locations where you could play this game. It was basically like paint-ball, but with lasers and armor gear. It was a ton of fun. I believe the Tom Hanks movie ‘Big‘ had a scene in the toy store where he was playing this, which you can see below.

Hell, even Saul Goodman from ‘Breaking Bad‘ and ‘Better Call Saul‘ couldn’t stop talking to Walter White about setting up shop in a laser tag location. The inventor or Laser Tag, George Carter III, has been developing a new gaming system and platform that uses the same basic principles as Photon or laser tag and has incorporated modern technology with iPhones to bring back the game in a sort of augmented reality environment, complete with audio and gear.

It’s called TZUUM and it’s the newest audio immersive outdoor combat game for your iPhone, which you can play with your friends.  But hey, they need a little help to get this off the ground to make this the next big thing to Pokemon Go.

Head over to Kickstarter to check it all out and donate a little bit to get your hands on the first bundle of these awesome gaming devices.
