Hey guys, Jana here,

Disney just gave us a little more than a peek into ‘The Finest Hours‘. It’s a drama, it’s a thriller and it looks intense, intense as ‘A Perfect Storm‘ for my money. To go further with the comparison, they’re both based on real life events. Starring Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Eric Bana, Holliday Grainger and Casey Affleck.

In February of 1952, the East Coast was pummeled with one of the worst storms to ever hit New England. The storm damaged an oil tanker off the coast of Cape Cod and ripped the tanker in half. Four members of the Coast Guard are given a small lifeboat with 70-foot high waves and sent on a rescue mission where the goal is to rescue more than 30 stranded sailors trapped aboard the vessel which is sinking rapidly. Just the trailer made me hold my breath, it’s going to be quite a movie and we’ll see it released at the end of January 2016.
