Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

Despite being 68 years old, Sylvester Stallone is still game for boxing his way for a title fight as well as taking on an army of bad guys. That’s right, the two more iconic roles the actor is known for will be back on the big screen within a couple of years. I am of course talking about ‘Rambo‘ and ‘Rocky‘.

This will be the fifth ‘Rambo‘ film and the seventh ‘Rocky‘ movie. I’m only wondering when we will be receiving an ‘Italian Stallion‘ remake. The last ‘Rambo‘ film came out seven years ago and grossed over $113 million worldwide. It was fun, violent, and extremely bloody. Remember that scene where Rambo shot a bad guy at point blank range with an anti-aircraft gun from a truck? Yep, pretty sweet. Stallone will be filming a new gangster biopic based on Gregory ‘the Grim Reaper’ Scarpa, but he said that he wouldn’t start that project until after the new ‘Rambo’ film was finished, which he is calling ‘Rambo: Last Blood‘.

Now Stallone has said before that he wants to retire the Rambo character soon, and with this being called ‘Last Blood’, it seems this will be a big send off for the character. Just hopefully he goes out in a blaze of glory, like riding a giant great white shark holding machine guns with a giant nuclear warhead strapped to its dick into a pile of neo nazis. That would be something we haven’t seen before. But the first ‘Rambo‘ film was called ‘First Blood‘, so I imagine this will be the last one with at least Stallone in it, but these films do so well, that I can’t see a reboot or remake or sequel with someone’s son in the future. Stallone will once again take on triple duty with writing, directing, and starring in the fifth ‘Rambo‘ film.

And let’s not forget that Stallone starts filming ‘Rocky 7‘ this month as well in Philadelphia. In this sequel, Rocky will play the trainer of Apollo Creed’s grandson who is in the boxing world. Creed’s son will be played by Michael B. Jordan (‘Fruitvale Station‘, ‘The Wire‘, ‘Fantastic Four‘ remake). The film will be subtitled ‘Creed‘ with Ryan Coogler (‘Fruitvale Station‘) directing. Stallone has a ton on his plate as we can see. But hopefully after a couple of years, he can get back to yet another ‘Expendables‘ film.
