John Oliver’s exit from Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart‘ and Daily Show’s Best F*&#ing News Team Ever! has moved on to his own weekly show on HBO and left the news team short a correspondent. Ready to fill that gap is Jordan Klepper from New York City’s Upright Citizens Brigade.
Klepper has had multiple long-running shows, a few with his wife and frequent collaborator, Laura Grey. He joins correspondents already in place Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi and Jessica Williams. Klepper has completed a few video shorts and was in an episode of ‘I Just Want My Pants Back’, which sounds strangely like a line from my college days. Regardless of how good he is on ‘The Daily Show’, at least he’s good to look at!
