For all you ‘Suicide Forest’ fans, your favorite graphic novel will be made for the big screen in the live action format.  Hideo Nakata is attached to direct.  You might remember him, as he directed ‘Ringu’, the original ‘The Ring’ film.  This is a great story and could be very good if done right.  IDW is on a roll with their book series being adapted into feature films.

The graphic novel revolves around Aokigahara, a vast forest outside Tokyo which is called the most famous suicide spot in the world. Legend that spirits of past suicides roaming among the trees. An American ex-pat living in Tokyo must enlist the help of a forest ranger in Aokigahara to help free him from the clutches of an evil spirit haunting him from the Suicide Forest according to Deadline.
