Universal will be releasing the Burt Reynolds and Sally Field action comedy, ‘Smokey and the Bandit on June 5th.  The film is 35 years old and follows Bandit (Burt Reynolds) who is a truck driver that has to deliver a shit load of beer over county lines within a day.  Bandit is is pursued by the iconic Buford T. Justice who is the sheriff and played by the amazing Jackie Gleason.

 

This release is a Universal 100 Year anniversary edition and will have a blu-ray,DVD, and Digital Copy with it.  No pricing is available at this time.  Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of these Universal 100 Year anniversary edition blu-rays popping up.
