Hi Bryan Here….

The network with its amped up original programming department will explore the Costa Concordia accident, in which the luxury cruise liner carrying more than 4,200 passengers crashed into a rock off the western coast of Italy, killing 17 and injuring more than 60 others with 15 still unaccounted for.  The documentary is set to premiere Sunday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m., with an encore on Monday, Feb. 13, at 10 p.m.  The doc will be titled ‘Italian Cruise Ship Disaster: The Untold Stories’ and will showcase actual passenger footage, interviews with cast and crew, and CG renderings of what happened.

In addition to all the information, real footage, and interviews, the documentary will compare and contrast the Costa Concordia with the Titanic and try to determine if this tragedy could have been prevented.  This will mark the first documentary to air in the USA on this event.
