Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long at all for Lego to adapt its toys to imitate Minecraft. Just over two weeks after Lego approved the Minecraft project, Markus “Notch” Persson has gotten hold of a set, tweeting a couple of exciting pictures of blocky Creeper components and plastic landscapes.

The Lego Cuusoo blog, meanwhile, has more “official” pictures of the adorably compact building set, which you can peruse in our gallery. The Lego Minecraft Micro World set is available for pre-order exclusively through J!NX with a release due this summer — after which point, you’ll be able to buy it through Lego’s own store. If it’s not 100% sold out (which it will be).
