Another Year. Another ‘Transformers’ Movie!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 14th, 2012

Hi Bryan Here….

Well it looks like one of the producers at Paramount spilled the beans a tad early and told cameras that Michael Bay will indeed make a 4th ‘Transformers’ film.  I guess the press release was supposed to go out sometime tomorrow and everyone at Paramount and Bay himself is up in arms about he whole thing.

And from what we hear, this will be sort of a reboot of the franchise.  Not sure if this is true, but if it is, it is a bit strange and a bit interesting.  Now most of you know my feelings on Michael Bay and the ‘Transformers’  films.  They are right up there with my loathing for Lucas and the Star Wars prequels and special editions.  There was not one good thing about the ‘Transformers’ films besides Bernie Mac and the effects.

Do we really need another ‘Transformers’ film?  And if there is going to be one, why reboot it?   Don’t get me wrong.  I know why they want to make more.  Each film makes way more money than it should, but I think Bay’s vision of ‘Transformers’ should be done with.

Will update you tomorrow as soon as we get the press release in.

Movie Quotes

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman:
[Hartman gives a speech to the graduating recruits] Today, you people are no longer maggots. Today, you are Marines. You're part of a brotherhood. From now on until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother. Most of you will go to Vietnam. Some of you will not come back. But always remember this: Marines die. That's what were here for. But the Marine Corp lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.
