‘Thor 2’ is getting re written by writer Robert Rodat.  Rodat is mostly known for writing ‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘The Patriot’, and creating/producing/writing ‘Falling Skies’.  Disney will put the film into production later this year for release in 2013 with Chris Hemsworth returning as the title character.

Alan Taylor will be directing the sequel.  Taylor has directed most HBO shows and tv series in my top 10 including: Sopranos/Game of Thrones/Lost, Six Feet Under/Mad Men.  Taylor replaced original director Patty Jenkins (Monster).  Can’t wait to see this sequel.  This could be even better than the first with his crew.  Your thoughts?
