Hi Bryan Here….

One of our favorite shows here at Boomstick to write about is ‘Arrested Development’.  So over the past year or so we have heard so many stories on a new season or a feature film.  Then a little while back, Netflix made a deal to air a completely new season of ‘Arrested Development’.  Not much has been said or really known about the series.   Still to this day, there is not much known about it, but co-exec producer Dean Lorey let a few details slip out today.  All good news.

Lorey said via his blog, that the entire cast is returning and that he, Mitch Hurwitz and Jim Vallely are writing the new season to premiere next year, and that shooting will begin in 2012, with “offices and parking spaces” already set up.  This means it’s really happening.  The funniest show in television history that was cancelled and not given a fair shot by Fox will be back with new episodes.  That is thanks to all of us fans.

As of right now, there are no other details really on plot lines or how many episodes there will be, or if it will take place right after the last episode of Fox or if it will be present day.  Whatever they do, it will be gold.  2013 will be a great year for ‘Arrested Development’.
