The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

Matt Damon has been looking for a good project to make his directorial debut for a long time, and he may have finally found it. He and John Krasinski (The Office) have written a screenplay reminiscent of Erin Brockovich that they will also star in. No title or detailed plot summary yet.

Damon has looked at some other projects, such as Warner Bros.’ Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Robbery and Eskimo Kisses, but it looks like he’s tabled that in favor of working with Krasinski. With a few acting roles lined up for Damon, it might be a while before he actually sits in the director’s chair, but now we know that he is heading in that direction.
