Hey everyone. Jonathon from Napkin Art Studios here…

As I continue to work on paintings for my upcoming exhibition, “We Are Modern”, opening at The Cameron Gallery April 2, 2011, you can catch sneak previews of some of the work here on the good ‘ol Boomstick site, as well as my own studio blog.

I won’t give away all my goodies, but will do my best to keep everyone returning for more. More importantly, hopefully it’ll get people into the door at the gallery for the opening.

Ok, now back to flipping through vintage issues of “Popular Mechanics” and re-watching all of my available episodes of “Mad Men” for additional inspiration. In case you were wondering, this show is heavily influenced by 1950s and 60s consumer culture.

Stay tuned for further updates.
