Hi Bryan Here…

I just love when Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese team up and make movies.  They have done so many good films together that have been both critically successful and box office successful.  So why would they stop that?  Well they have no plans to stop.  They are teaming up again to make “The Wolf Of Wall Street”.

So let us go down the list of Scorsese/DiCaprio films.  Gangs of New York, Aviator, The Departed, and Shutter Island,  All of these films have been spectacular and have garnered numerous awards including Oscars.  I will imagine this one will be no different.

The Wolf Of Wall Street is based on the non fiction book by Jordan Belfort and was a documentation of Belfort’s rise as a stock broker and him committing security fraud and dabbling in money laundering.   The book’s cover says, “”partied like a rock star, lived like a king, and barely survived my rise and fall as an American Entrepreneurial Icon.””  It seems that this was the inspiration for the film “Boiler Room”.  It also feels like a Wall Street/Goodfellas crossover.  Perfect for Scorsese and DiCaprio.

Terrence Winter (Sopranos/Boardwalk Empire) will be executive producing as well as writing the screenplay on this one.

This is sounding to be one hell of a badass film.

Can’t Wait.

Purchase the book below.
