This is going to be a new weekly post where I will let you know some of the ultra cool events and affairs that are happening around the Metroplex.  Movie screenings, concerts, comedy acts, drink specials, and much much more will be added.  So look to this every weekend for something awesome to do and act accordingly.  We start this weekend off with a LONG weekend.

On Saturday September 4th the ultimate AC/DC tribute band, “Back In Black” will be performing live at the House of Blues with opening act “Blizzard of Ozz: A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne”.  This show promises to rock your collective socks off.  These guys are AWESOME.  Rock OUT!  See what Back in Black is all about HERE. And buy tickets to the event HERE.

The midnight show this week at the Inwood Theatre in Dallas is The Last of the Mohicans.  Times are Friday and Saturday night at midnight.  Not your typical late night movie, but a great movie non the less.  Plus the Inwood has an excellent full service bar you can bring your cocktails into the movie and sit on counches and bean bags and love seats.  Check it out HERE.

If you are into wine and grilling then go to Veritas Wine Room on Sunday starting at 7:00pm and it will go till whenever.  Fernando will be turning into a crazy ninja chef and will be grilling just about everything and he promises it will be SPICY.  Veritas asks you that you RSVP to them and let them know how many are coming out so they know how much food to buy.  Contact them HERE.

For something a little different, head on over to the Lakewood Theatre on Friday at about 8:00pm and catch all that is AWESOME with Viva Dallas Burlesque.  These amazing performers are guaranteed to thrill you, chill you, and fulfill you.  I had the pleasure of seeing this show last month and it was amazing.  There was a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas routine and an Angel vs. Devil routine.  You will hear some great music and see some excellent dance.  Head HERE to find out about it.
