Network BET Just Bought Most of Our Favorite 90′s Sitcoms!!!

BET Networks has just purchased the rights and licenses to a bunch of popular 1990′s sitcoms in a deal with Warner Bros. Some of the shows included are ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’, ‘Family Matters’, ‘Martin’, ‘The Jamie Foxx Show’, and ‘The Wayan Bros’. All of these will air on BET.

Here is the newest trailer of ‘Jack The Giant Slayer‘ from Warner Bros. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this film for a while now, and it looks epic as well as a lot of fun. Bryan Singer is directing with Nicholas Hoult starring as Jack. He is joined by Ewan McGregor, , Stanley Tucci, Warwick Davis, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Eleanor Tomlinson and Eddie Marsan.
Casey Affleck Brings ‘The Boston Strangler’ To Warner Bros.!!!

Casey Affleck has been developing a project with fellow screenwriter Chuck Maclean about the infamous Boston Strangler, who terrorized the Boston area in the 1960s. Casey and Chuck sold the story to Warner Bros. and is currently titled ‘Boston Strangler‘ and will center around a group of detectives known as the Strangler Squad who hunt for the killer. Affleck will most likely star in the film and will also be an executive producer.
Tim Burton Will Direct Robert Downey Jr. in ‘Pinocchio’!!!

We’ve been hearing that Warner Bros. has been developing a new Pinocchio project, and now Jane Goldman will write the script for Tim Burton to direct Robert Downey Jr, which will be a first time collaboration for the two to work together. No contracts have been signed yet, but Burton and Robert have been talking with Warner about their excitement and suggestions for the film according to THR.

It’s such a delight to have The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan out on DVD. This series, which only lasted 16 episodes, originally aired in in 1972 and follows Mr. Chan or Charlie Chan, his ten children, and their dog Chu as they travel across the globe and solve mysteries. Charlie Chan sounds familiar to you doesn’t it? Like that name is in a song? That’s right, because it’s used in the Beastie Boys song ‘Brass Monkey’. Just a little side note. This release is one of those famous WB Archive releases. It looks very good.

You folks getting excited for July 20th? ’The Dark Knight Rises’ will be in theatres at that time, and to hype up the film, Warner Bros. is on tour with Batman’s vehicles. You can head to Wal-Mart at 6185 Retail Road, Dallas, TX 75231 tonight, June 25, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm to see both in person. They are giving away posters as well as some other goodies.

We’ve talked about Del Toro’s Pacific Rim project before on the site. We know it about humans driving enormous robots to fight off a bunch of giant monsters who have invaded Earth. We also know that Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, and Charlie Hunnam are in the film. It is slated to be released in the summer of 2013. Well, now Warner Bros. have officially released the official plot synopsis to make us all giddy.

Warner Bros. has just bought a big sci-fi project that involves dinosaurs. The project, which is being kept under wraps will feature a rapidly evolving species of dinosaurs that attack Los Angeles in present day. This has Roland Emmerich’s name written all over it, but John Clisham will be directing and writing the film. Clisham worked with James Cameron on the 3D conversion for ‘Titanic’ according to Deadline.

From the vaults of DC Comics and Warner Bros. comes ‘Young Justice’, which is a part of the famous Justice League. This release is the latter part of season 1 boasting four episodes in total. The animation is really good and I think the younger generation will really take a liking to this new generations of super heroes. All hail ‘Young Justice’.
