May/2013

Hi, Bryan Here….

HANGOVER3_001

Well, here is the new poster for ‘The Hangover III‘, which is set to release on May 24th. From the looks of this, Las Vegas is in for one wild and destructive time.  Plus it reminds me of Warner Bros.‘ ‘Harry Potter‘ posters.  Synopsis: ”The Hangover Part III” is the third and final film in director Todd Phillips’ record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off. So, i guess this will be the last film of the series. That is until warner decides to reboot it in a few years with a different cast. Looks epic.

Hi, Bryan Here….

iron-patriot-iron-man-3-character-poster

Here is the new ‘Iron Man 3‘ poster which has Don Cheadle (Rhodes) in the Iron Patriot armor, which looks very cool. Shane Black making an ‘Iron Man‘ film is just incredible. I think it might be the best one yet. The third installment opens up May 3rd, and I’m sure we all can’t wait.  I hope at the end of the film we get a tease for the next ‘Avengers’ movie.

Check Out the ‘Man of Steel’ Poster!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 4th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

This ‘Man of Steel’ poster certainly raises a ton of questions.  It definitely looks good, but is very strange.  Here we see Henry Cavill as Superman being escorted by military personell in handcuffs.  Is Supes a bad guy?  How is this possible?  Superman is invulnerable to pretty much anything and could fly away and break those handcuffs, and if the military guys try and shoot him, you know the bullets would just bounce right off.  But who knows?

Check Out the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Poster!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 4th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here…..

I really can’t wait to see this.  I’ve been a long time fan of ‘Star Trek’ and f friends asked my that age old question, “Star Wars or Star Trek?”, my answer was 10/10 ‘Star Trek’.  As we previously reported, the first several minutes of ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ will be shown in front of ‘The Hobbit’ film, which my review will be posted shortly.  Anyway, on to the poster.  I really do like this poster, and tons of people are saying it is eerily similar to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ poster, which I can see, but I think this one is tons better.  I do hope at one point that we get the Enterprise on the poster, but this is a good one.

The New ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ Poster Needs Work!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 12th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

So here is yet another poster for the upcoming ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ reboot.  Yes, that’s right, another reboot of the franchise.  This time it is just called ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’.  That makes this the 3rd reboot of the film and either the 7th or 8th film total about the crazy family and Leatherface in Texas.  So, while Leatherface looks really fucking cool here, he is missing one key ingredient.  His fucking chainsaw!  Come on people, that’s like making a ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ poster with Freddy on the front, but he does not have his signature finger knife glove.  I think the previous poster, which can be seen HERE, is better.  I can only hope for the best.

Check Out the Poster for Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 22nd, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

I smell and see Oscar nomination all over this film.  Daniel Day-Lewis looks amazing as our 16th president.  Steven Spielberg directs Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Legendary Pictures unveiled on their Facebook page, the new ‘Godzilla’ poster for their reboot of the classic giant monster lizard epic.  We have talked about this project a few times on the site as we are completely excited about it.  We just love that Gareth Edwards is directing this film.  Edwards directed the indie monster film ‘Monsters’, which was one of my favorite films of that year.  READ MY REVIEW HERE.  I know it’s a huge tease, but enjoy the poster and get psyched.

Get Your First Look at the New Judge Dredd!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jun 8th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here…

As you have known for the past few years, there has been a Judge Dredd film in the works.  Only over the past several months have things really taken shape.  Karl Urban will play Dredd and supposedly is fully committed to the character and is loving every minute of it.  Let it also be known that this Judge Dredd film is going to be a hardcore ‘R’ film and is written by Alex Garland.  Garland wrote a little film you might like called ’28 Days Later’.

Hi, Bryan Here….

So, before Tim Burton was all Tim Burton and loved scissors and crooked trees, he made a short film called ‘Frankenweenie’.  Now he is remaking his first film.  I have a love/hate relationship with Tim Burton, but I am curious to see this.  Very few directors go back to the original 1st movies and remake them.  But now the film has a poster and it looks eerily familiar.
