Good news, everyone. ‘Veronica Mars‘ is coming back in the form of a feature film. However, it’s all up to us. I’ve been watching the series all over again recently and constantly sing “A long time ago, we used to be friends, but I haven’t thought of you lately at all”, and I can’t tell you how much I miss this amazing series.  Kristen Bell, who played Veronica Mars and show creator Rob Thomas (no, not that Rob Thomas), have constantly said they loved doing the show and would love to return to it.  Well, now it seems like they might get that chance.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Have you ever wanted to own a specific car from a film or television series?  I have compiled a list of my favorite vehicles from films and television series that I want to own someday.  Now, I am excluding spaceships, because that is a whole different list.  This particular list of vehicles all stay on the ground.  It was fun coming up with this list, and I imagine some of you out there actually own these cars or are working on restoring one.  Or just maybe it will give you an idea to make one of these in real life.  Enjoy.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Ben H. Winters’ horror novel ‘Bedbugs’ has been picked up by new production company Tango Pictures.  Tango will release the film with Ti West writing the screenplay.  I also hope they ask Ti to direct as well, since I’m a big fan of his.  Ti wrote and directed ‘The House of the Devil’ and the upcoming ‘V/H/S’ movie.

The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

Elvis and Nixon, an independent film debut-directed by Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), has some pretty good star power attached. Eric Bana (Hanna) will play Elvis Presley and Danny Huston (Leverage) will play the infamous Richard Nixon. The story is based on the 1970 meeting between the two, where Presley brought Nixon a Colt .45 as a present. The meeting was over Presley’s dream to be a Federal Agent at Large in the fight against drugs.

Writer Josh Olson (History of Violence) has been hired on to write ‘Tabloid’ which is an adult thriller that rock icon Mick Jagger is looking to star in.  The role Jagger is eyeing is a global media mogul with dubious morality, and there is a young journalist who gets seduced and sucked into that immoral world.

Jason Bateman has been working on his next project called ‘ID Theft’ which is about a man who gets his identity stolen by another guy, but after Batman saw Melissa in ‘Bridesmaids’, he talked her  into replacing the ‘guy character’.  She accepted.  I thought Melissa McCarthy was the best thing in ‘Bridesmaids’.  She has always been amazing. I remember really noticing her from ‘Gilmore Girls’, but her character from the show was a far cry from her character on ‘Bridesmaids’.
