Since we all can’t stop talking about Jack Bauer and the old hit series ‘24‘, Fox has heard our cries and is looking to bring back the super-tense series ‘24‘ back to television for an all-new season. This time it will be a limited series, most likely meaning only several episodes. And yes, Kiefer Sutherland who plays Jack Bauer on the show is in talks to reprise his iconic role.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Good news, everyone.  well, maybe the best news ever.  Joss Whedon has just announced that due to the success of the ‘Veronica Mars‘ Kickstarter campaign, which has raised over $4.3 million, that he and the Fox Network are going the same route to get one more season, consisting of 13 new episodes of their hit series ‘Firefly‘.  Joss said that everyone is on board to come back to reprise their roles, minus the deceased characters, however he hinted that we might see them in the new series in flashbacks.

Black Mariah Here….

In this episode, “Love Hurts” the show opens with Ryan and Debra in a video conference briefing with 6 of the the Nation’s top government security agencies, and the meeting quickly turns to an inquisition as the investigation is not ending and more bloodshed is getting national attention. Debra and Ryan let the agencies in on what they know as an extensive following, or cult, for Joe Carroll, who is now a wanted fugitive, having escaped the prison on transfer.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Back in August we reported that a bunch of big names were going to guest on this season of ‘The Simpsons‘.  One of those names was Tom Waits, and his episode will air this coming up Sunday, so set your DVR’s to record.  I do not know much about the episode, but I seem to remember hearing that Waits won’t be singing in the episode, which is very unfortunate.

On October 10th, the ‘Daredevil’ right will revert back to Marvel from 20th Century Fox.  So it’s in Fox’s best interest to start production on a ‘Daredevil’ reboot.  Marvel has been discussing this project with Fox chairman Tom Rothman about keeping the ‘Daredevil’ story with Fox past its October 10th deadline, because it looks like Fox is lining up director Joe Carnahan to direct the reboot.

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci’s ‘Sleepy Hollow’ seres has landed at Fox, which will be put to pilot with Len Wiseman on board to direct.  Kurtzman, Orci, and Phillip Iscove will pen the script that is a modern-day supernatural thriller based on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It will follow Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil according to Deadline.

Twentieth Century Fox announced today some major additions to its 2013-14 release slate, along with some date changes.On the heels of the $344 million worldwide success of TITANIC 3D, the studio and director Roland Emmerich, in conjunction with Stereo 3D, which did the work on TITANIC, will produce a top quality 3D version of the iconic INDEPENDENCE DAY. ID4 3D will be released worldwide on July 3, 2013.

Fox is planning a big night to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a prime time special that will put the cast of ‘Married…With Children’ back together again for a reunion.  The special will feature all four core cast members: Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate, and David Faustino.  In addition to that, Fox is planning a ‘X-Files’ reunion as well according to Vulture.

Hi, Bryan Here….

We have reported that after the final season of ’24′, that wasn’t the last we will have heard from Jack Bauer.  There is a movie in the works for ’24′, but now it looks like it will be delayed a year or two.  Everything has been greenlit and ready to go, but since Kiefer Sutherland is filming his new series ‘Touch’, he only gets a small window of a break between seasons and he and the filmmakers felt it would be rushed to do the ’24′ film.

Cuba Gooding Jr. will star in a pilot for Fox called ‘Guilty’ which is his first tv series regular job.  The series will follow William “Billy” Remz (Gooding), a brilliant, morally questionable defense attorney who, after being falsely convicted of fraud and stripped of his legal license, uses his unorthodox methods to solve the cases he’s been prohibited from handling, and to exact revenge on those who set him up.
