Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase Are Working On A Comedy?!?!?

by Gumbercules9000 on Mar 20th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

Dan Aykroyd took to his Facebook page today and said, “Chevy (Chase) and I are about to start work on a script concept for a comedy movie. Cannot say too much about the concept, but the joy of working with him again is one that I am extremely excited about. Chevy is one of my favourite people, and one of the great anarchistic and physically committed comedians in the business.”  Could this be a new epic comedy from two of the funniest people around?

Hi Bryan Here….

CBS has greenlit a pilot for a show called ‘Super Fun Night’ written by and starring Australian actress-comedian Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids).   The series follows three nerdy female friends on their ”funcomfortable” quest to have super fun every Friday night. This will be a multi camera series which means there is a high possibility of a laugh track.  Not to keen on those these days, but I have been surprised before.  This is the first multi camera show to be picked up by CBS this season.

The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

Hi Bryan Here….

That’s right Cusack and Knoxville will star in this what seems like uproarious comedy film titled ‘Carnaval’.  Cusack will play a sports scout sent to Rio de Janeiro during the over-the-top bacchanalia of Carnaval to recruit the world’s best soccer player with the promise that if he signs the star, he will inherit the agency. Knoxville plays his best friend, a musician who tags along and has an affair with a woman who turns out to be the player’s girlfriend, derailing the signing mission.

Fox to Take On Hannibal! …Burress. From Jonah Hill!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 13th, 2011

The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

(Warning: You’re not getting through this article without cannibal jokes.)

Fox has bought Jonah Hill’s sitcom, starring stand-up comedian Hannibal Burress, with a blind script commitment plus penalty. The format – single- or multi-camera – has not yet been determined, but the show will bring Burress’ performing chops to television for the first time. Burress has written episodes of both Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock (and there have been no strange disappearances from either) as well as stood up for Comedy Central and David Letterman, but has not yet had his own shtick in a sitcom.
