Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

Screen Shot 2016-04-15 at 3.02.20 PM

There is a strange surveillance video making the rounds on the internet today that features a man walking into a liquor store, when it seems that his arm starts to “malfunction”, causing several rows of the store’s merchandise to topple over. The store clerk and other customers seem to be frightened. The guy escapes, before anything can happen. It’s strange and creepy for sure.

Blood and Guts: ‘Mortal Kombat X’ Is Almost Here!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 15th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

71gb-fgwSnL._SL1280_

I know we are all yelling inside, ‘MORTAL KOMBAT‘, just like that kid in the video did twenty three years ago. Did I just refer to 1992 as twenty three years ago? Fuck, I’m old. Well in those twenty three years, we will have had ten version of ‘Mortal Kombat’ games. Films not included. Come April 14th though, you’ll be able to decapitate heads, tear bones out, eye gouge, and anything else you really want to in the 10th version of ‘Mortal Kombat‘.

Grand Theft Auto V Soundtrack Dropping December 9!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Nov 4th, 2014

Hey guys, Jana here,

0a2dc4b3

Grand Theft Auto‘ may have taught a generation how to carjack successfully, it also entertained that generation with the tell-tale squeak of a rocking car and recruited for questionable missions. No matter what was happening on screen, there was always an underlying soundtrack that accompanied every shady deal, theft and murder.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

dead-rising-2

I’m sure if you’ve owned a video game console before, you have heard or played ‘Dead Rising‘, the zombie survival video game from Capcom. I know I have, and they were very detailed, frightening, and in depth games. Legendary Pictures and Lorenzo di Bonaventura (‘Transformers‘) are adapting this video game into a feature film, or more so a digital feature with Zach Lipovsky directing.

Attention Batfans, Jana here,

20140621085640!Batman_Arkham_Knight_Cover_Art

I’m a bonafide Batfan from way back when Wonder Woman and Batgirl were on my knickers. This includes all things batty. Not like regular animal bats, because that would just be weird, or at the very least, awkward. If you call your pad the Batcave and you’re a Batman fan, all is well, if you call it the Batcave because it’s full of real bats, you might need to spend some time in Arkham Asylum. Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe…er…well usually.

Jana B. here,

Console Wars

Blake Harris has a new novel dropping in May of this coming year entitled ‘Console War‘. Sony Pictures has already snapped up the feature rights from Atlantic Books. The behind-the-scenes business thriller that chronicles how Sega, a small, scrappy gaming company led by an unlikely visionary and a team of rebels, took on the juggernaut Nintendo and revolutionized the video game industry. Culminating in a David and Goliath face-off. The battle was vicious, relentless, and highly profitable, eventually sparking a global corporate war that would be fought on several fronts: from living rooms and schoolyards to boardrooms and Congress. It was a once-in-a-lifetime, no-holds-barred conflict that pitted brother against brother, kid against adult, Sonic against Mario, and the US against Japan.Atlantic will publish ‘Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle that Defined a Generation’ in August.

Hi, Bryan Here….

GTA-5

Grand Theft Auto V‘ will release September 17th, 2013, and until now, we haven’t seen any official gameplay. We’ve only see trailers and teasers for the new game from Rockstar. Now, I was pretty excited about this game, but after watching this video, I’m in complete awe and my mind has been blown. The detail and graphics, the fluid motion of the action and characters are all top notch. This game looks amazing and I won’t be surprised if IGN gives it a 10.0 rating, judging by the looks of this video.

by Gumbercules9000 on May 21st, 2013

Hi, Bryan Here….

0521-hero-live

Microsoft unleashed a bit of info earlier today at their XBOX conference. Much like Sony did with their Playstation announcement a couple of months ago. Both companies decided to hold their own conference before the large E3 (Electronics Convention) conference which is coming up in a few weeks. Much like the PS4 event, some info was given, some was not. but rest assured, there are definitely some cool aspects to the new XBOX which is being called the XBOX ONE.

Hi, Bryan Here….

free-hidden-object-games-29

This might be bittersweet to some of you. It is to me. Over recent months, EA has been a hot topic in the video game community, and not in a good way. With their failed release of the new Sim City and their customers not being treated well, I’d imagine a lot of us will be less than thrilled about this. But EA Games has teamed up with Disney and ‘Star Wars’ to release video games exclusively under their banner.

Hi, Bryan Here….

portal_noescape

J.J. Abrams has just teamed up with video game company, Valve to develop future projects based on their video games. Abrams’ production banner, Bad Robot will help develop these projects, which is to start fairly soon. Valve is known mostly for their games, ‘Half-Life‘, ‘Portal‘, and ‘Left 4 Dead‘. And not only will they develop films together, but also new video games. I’m calling a future ‘Star Trek‘ or ‘Star Wars‘ game for Valve in the coming years.

Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.

Hi, Bryan Here….

‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ just keeps looking better and better.  Man, I can’t wait till Spring of 2013 for this to release.  The first trailer for the video game was great, but this new one takes it to a whole new level.  This new trailer shows us that there are 3 main characters we will be playing as during the game, Michael, a family man who lives in the post Vinewood hills; Franklin, a professional automotive repo man; and Trevor, who appears to be a complete and total psychopath. Players will have to utilize each character’s strengths and abilities to execute intricate heists.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Remember that awesome trailer for the zombie video game ‘Dead Island’?  This will refresh your memory.  Well the good and talented folks over at Deep Silver and TechLand have a new game in the same universe.  It’s called ‘Riptide’ and looks just a s good as the first game.  From the website, “They thought they had escaped the terrors of Banoi and survived the apocalypse on a corrupted paradise. Then their fate took a turn for the worse… The Dead Island heroes escaped in a helicopter to the safety of a military ship, but when a furious storm hits and the virus suddenly spreads throughout the crew, the nightmare starts all over again, leaving hope drowning in the rising tides.”
