by Red Zeppelbon on Oct 4th, 2017

Hey guys, Jana here, If you’re a Neil Gaiman fan, you’ve been watching the progress of the ‘Good Omens‘ adaptation, from Amazon and BBC2,with unbridled excitement as he’s been posting updates on his Twitter  feed . For those of you unaware, ‘Good Omens‘, which is technically titled ‘Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch‘, and it’s co-written by Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett. These are not two lightweight authors that had to team up to get a book published, but rather, two literary giants that chose to bless us with their combined greatness.

Scream Factory presents ‘Misery‘ in a 2-disc collector’s edition Blu-ray set that will arrive November 28, 2017. From the chilling mind of Stephen King, ‘Misery‘ is based on his novel of the same name. If you’ve read the story, you wince at the thought of Annie Wilkes with an axe, but if you’ve watched the movie, you’ve cringed when you think of  Kathy Bates with a sledgehammer. A role that will lead Bates to accept an Academy Award for her off-center portrayal of the crazed #1 fan, Annie Wilkes.

‘Westworld’ Season 2 Looks Bloodier Than Ever!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jul 23rd, 2017

Hey guys, Jana here,

Westworld isn’t your typical amusement park. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park allows its visitors to live out their most primal fantasies with the robotic “hosts.” However, the robotic hosts have evolved an artificial consciousness that is similar to, yet diverges from, human consciousness. No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park’s guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged; but there is a price to be paid.

There are two things Martin Scorsese knows a lot about, one of them is making movies and the other is making mob movies. Hey guys, Jana here,

neilgaiman1

When Neil Gaiman wants to tell you a story, you stop and listen. Having said that, listen up!

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch (the world’s only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655, before she exploded), the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just before dinner.

So the armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, frogs are falling, tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon—both of whom have lived amongst Earth’s mortals since The Beginning and have grown rather fond of the lifestyle—are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture.

And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist . . .

You or I couldn’t come up with something this wonderful, but Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett could, and they did. ‘Good Omens‘ is what it’s better known as and it’s gloriously funny in the way only these brilliant writers could be. I’m not sure what emotion I like more, the absolute elation I felt as I read the book, or the giddy joy in finding out that this book has made the long trek to being realized as a series on Amazon Prime!!!

Oh yes, you read that right, and it’s only taken 27 years. What could possibly be better you ask? Neil Gaiman will PERSONALLY be handling the adaptation, writing each script and serving as the showrunner. Amazon Studios and BBC will co-produce what is to be 6 hour-long episodes that will air in 2018. The great thing, for those of us with an Amazon Prime subscription, is that the miniseries will premiere on Amazon Prime video first before it goes to BBC.
