by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 21st, 2017

Hi everyone, Bryan here…

I guess you could say that the 80’s gave us some of the very BEST horror films ever made. One of the 80’s horror films that is just as good and as fun as the above mentioned movies, but rarely gets a mention is the 1986 film ‘The Gate‘, directed by Tibor Takacs.

Hi Bryan Here….

Director/ Produce Kenny Ortega has just signed on to direct the remake of the 1980’s cult classic ‘Dirty Dancing’.  This is an interesting choice in that Kenny Ortega choreographed and came up with the grinding “dirty dancing” that made the original sleeper hit one of the most profitable independent films ever made.  He also went on to direct the short lived ‘Dirty Dancing’ television series in the 80’s.  Now things have come around and he will be the director of the remade version.

Movie Quotes

Dr. Evil:
I never knew my birth parents. There was a car accident. my birth mother was incinerated, and I only survived because her smoking carcass had formed a protective cocoon of slaughtered human effluence. A Belgian man and his fifteen year-old love slave were looting the accident scene, came across a blood soaked baby, moi, and they raised me to be evil. You know, very Norman Rockwell.
