Film Review: ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
Matthew Vaughn is back in the director’s chair with ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle‘, the sequel to the hit 2015 action-comedy film that made over $414 million. The ‘Kingsman’ story line was originally written in comic book form from Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) and Dave Gibbons (Watchmen) and follows a super secret British spy service that protects the world from various threats. It’s like James Bond, but more fun, more violent, and with more laughs. With sequels, especially in the action world, the words “bigger, better, faster” are usually used everyday on set, in an attempt to out-do the previous movie. That can mostly be said for this sequel too, but with The Golden Circle – – it all works.
Check out the extended trailer for ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Guess who’s back, back again? No, it’s not Slim Shady, it’s Kingsman. In round two, ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle‘, director Vaughn gathered some of the usual gentleman, like Taron Egerton, Mark Strong and, yes – Colin Firth. He’s combined it with a healthy dose of American badass in the form of Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, and Jeff Bridges to bring us a new adventure I can’t wait to feast my eyes on.
Film Review: ‘Sing’!
Beka P., Here…
SING is a film set in a world where animals act just as people do- they dress and talk like we do, they work like we do, they have vices and problems and dreams just like we do. They also have singing competitions like we do, but thankfully this is no American Idol. This film is an absolute delight. Whether you take your kids or go with adults, it’s honestly one of the most enjoyable films I’ve seen all year. Grown men all around me were laughing deep belly laughs, an older woman next to me was singing along, and the kids in the back were giggling with glee. It’s fun for everyone.
Channing Tatum Hits Up the ‘Kingsman’ Sequel!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
Channing Tatum just in everything now. He has just joined the cast of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle‘, which is a sequel to the fun-as-hell ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service‘ from 2014. Tatum announced it on Twitter by saying, “I’m about to get all up in that Golden Circle.”
Sir Elton John Joins Cast For ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
What could possibly make the sequel to ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service‘ any better than it’s own existence? Elton freaking John! Oh yeah, you better believe you just read that.
The Search For A Younger Han Solo Has Come Down To A Short List Of Maybes!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Lucasfilm and Disney are making some big announcements today. One being that M and Steven Spielberg are back for another sequel to Indiana Jones, you can read about that here. The next being that they are closing in on their younger Han Solo for their solo film about the Star Wars hero. They haven’t landed on an actor, yet, but they have a short list of three actors that have made the finals in the selection process.
Film Review: ‘Eddie The Eagle’!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
Underdog stories are almost always fun. From ‘Miracle‘ to ‘Rocky‘ to even ‘Little Giants‘, these stories of regular people, who you normally wouldn’t pick for a sports team, prove that they have enough heart, guts, blood, and spirit to give it a real shot and make it to the top. Some of these films and television shows we’ve seen that have portrayed the ‘underdog’ scenario have been based on real people and real events, such as this one, ‘Eddie the Eagle‘. If you grew up during the 1980s, you might remember hearing about ‘Eddie the Eagle‘, who was a British Olympic ski jumper at the Calgary 1988 Olympics.
Film Review: ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
I can officially say that the first AWESOME, kick-ass movie of 2015 is finally here, which is ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service‘. Based on Mark Millar’s (Kick-Ass) comic book, director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake, Snatch) has once again delivered the goods and high entertainment value with an homage to spy films, particularly the ‘James Bond‘ franchise. So what’s that mean? It means the guy who made ‘Kick-Ass‘ and produced ‘Snatch‘, made his own version of ‘James Bond‘, and it’s as violent and gory and funny as his other films I mentioned.
